Recommendations and Referrals are Appreciated!
I attended a conference in Charleston, SC last week called Hear It Direct. I attend and teach at many real estate educational events around the country, but this one was a bit different – the consumers were the panelists! It was eye-opening and interesting to hear what y’all think of us!
A few comments were:
- “I won’t use sites with forced registration.” (No problem here.)
- “I expect my home to appear on as many sites as possible. That’s like expecting clean sheets at a hotel.” (Also no problem here as I syndicate to HUNDREDS of sites.)
- “I expect prompt communication from my agent.” (I always do my best, but some times you have to prioritize.)
- “I like it when my agent asks me how to communicate.” (Let me know if you like e-mail, text, phone call or whatever your preference.)
- “Don’t forget about me. But don’t spam me.” (I won’t if you won’t!
)
It was also interesting to learn that many of you feel that Zillow and Trulia are better searches than most agents sites. Well, that might apply to a lot of agent sites, but I really encourage you to use and save your searches here at http://LoriBee.com . Me and the team at Virtual Results have worked hard to make it really user friendly and simple, but your suggestions are always appreciated.
Probably one of the most important things I heard from the consumers were how important “word of mouth” referrals and references were. Well, I agree and wanted to ask you to consider recommending me to your family, friends, and co-workers. Also please keep in mind, that I have a personal network of thousands of other agents across the country that I personally know, that can assist you with your relocation ANYWHERE. It’s like getting 2 for the price of 1, as I stay in touch to make sure the transaction is going smoothly.
If you feel so inclined to write me a reference or referral below, just put it in the comments. Also feel free to read many existing references on my Linked-In site. In these difficult times, I appreciate your help and I will return that appreciation with hard work and effort to not only meet your expectations, but to exceed them. Together we are partners thru these turbulent times.
