Mineral Springs
Mineral Springs is a very small, community incorporated in 1999 located between Waxhaw and Monroe on Highway 75. It is most notably famous for being the location of the annual Queens Cup Steeplechase, held the last Saturday in April, every year. That is when the towns small population of approximately 2500 citizens swells more than four-fold, as Brooklandwood welcomes over 10,000 guests for the steeplechase.
However, Mineral Springs is also known for the famous Mineral Springs Music Barn, which hosts live Bluegrass Bands nearly every Friday night. Call Blackhat Auctions at 704-668-1689 for more information.
The main reason folks want to live in Mineral Springs is the rural atmosphere full of farms and quaint homes, away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, along with one of the lowest incorporated tax rates in the area.
